CRISIS INTERVENTIONIST – FULL TIME 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Status: Full Time / Non-Exempt

Supervisor: Director of Crisis Services

POSITION SUMMARY: The Crisis Interventionist will be responsible for providing crisis intervention to victims of family violence and sexual assault by telephone or face-to-face crisis support sessions, and at The Bridge Children’s Advocacy Center and North West Texas Healthcare Systems. The CI will also engage in case management, BIPP partner follow up, legal advocacy, community education, and volunteer training seminars.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Outreach and Parent Support Specialist works to increase awareness of the HOPES (Healthy
Outcomes through Prevention and early Support) program purpose. This position strives to establish
community partnerships, raise awareness of child abuse education and prevention, build healthy families
through educational support connection to services and be a valuable member of the HOPES team when
planning events and group connections.

POSITION SUMMARY:  Ensures the efficient daily operations of the residential safe house while ensuring safety and support for clients. The Safe House Advocate is responsible for meeting the physical and emotional needs of survivors and their children.
