Family Support Services Welcomes New CEO to Lead The Mission Forward

After 19 years of passionate service, we are thrilled to announce Brandi Reed as the new CEO of Family Support Services.

Her journey began humbly—volunteering with the crisis team—and has grown into a legacy of bold leadership, unshakable advocacy, and heart-led innovation. From Assistant Director of Crisis Services to longtime Director of Education, Brandi has never just held titles—she’s built movements. She’s a trusted voice across Texas, having twice been appointed by the governor to serve on the Crime Victims Institute Council, where she’s helped shape state policy around domestic violence. She founded the Panhandle’s first anti-human trafficking coalition and represents our region on the statewide task force for both child and adult trafficking. Her leadership also includes directing a labor trafficking initiative in the agricultural sector in partnership with the Buffett and McCain Foundations.

Brandi is a fierce believer in early intervention. She serves on the Texas Leadership Council, helping lead the charge for stronger early childhood prevention and support systems.

Her fingerprints are on some of our community’s most transformative work, including launching the HOPES Program to prevent child abuse and spearheading a bold new mental health initiative for youth across our region.

A longtime supporter and former board member of the Amarillo Little Theatre, Brandi brings the same vibrancy and spark to leadership that she does to supporting the arts. She was named a Woman of Distinction by the Girl Scouts in 2018 and served for years on the committee that honors other change-making women in our community.

Brandi is a dynamic speaker, strategist, and fundraiser who puts her communications degree to work in everything from advocacy rallies to benefit galas. She’s led the largest team at FSS with grace, grit, and just the right amount of sparkle—known for lifting people up, meeting challenges head-on, and always adding a little lightness to the room when it’s needed most.

As a woman now leading an agency that has walked alongside thousands of women, Brandi is honored to carry that torch and lead with passion and purpose.

Join us in celebrating Brandi, the new CEO of Family Support Services!
